Dr. KC has been organizing the staging the fast-unto-death at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for last seven days demanding changes in the nation’s medicinal sector. This is the 6th hunger strike Dr KC is staging over the last few years demanding the formulation and implementation of policies to reform the country’s medical sector. KC decided to stage hunger strike this time choice to pile pressure on the government to implement the policy reforms on medical education recommended by a high-level committee led by Professor Kedar Bhakta Mathema.
